Municipal Liverpool.

Structures Group were involved at the design stage of the Municipal project, where we advised on temporary works and cleaning methodologies to ensure cost and time efficient methods. We were contracted to complete enabling works, led removal, structural alterations, brick and stone repairs and heritage tile removal to the building. Enabling works were instructed along with investigation works, to find out the makeup of the building at the preconstruction stage of the project. Led paint removal to substrates around the building was conducted after completing the enabling works. Some paint required removal by hand. Where this was not necessary, SAT blasting was carried out.

The project also entailed structural alterations, stone work and brick work repair throughout the building. Temporary works were supplied and coordinated by Structures Group site management to ensure safe removal of masonry walls and installation of steels. Alongside structural alterations, Structures Group formed builders works openings to allow mechanical and electrical systems throughout the building without effecting the heritage elements of the building. As a result of the success of this project, Structure’s Group have gained another key client, who we look forward to working with in the future.
