Bedford High School Careers Fair
Date: Mar 10, 2022

Structures Group were delighted to take part in one of our local high school’s careers fair this week. We had the opportunity to meet with students across all year groups and speak to them about what a career in construction involved. We gave them a bit of information about the various careers we offer here at Structures Group and answered all of their questions.

Structures Group offer cost effective remedial solutions, within desired time frames, without compromising the aesthetics of a build/project. To reflect this, we set the students a challenge to build the tallest structure within a time limit of 5 minutes. Students were given a choice of different materials and were told their structures must stand upright on their own. It was fantastic to watch how the students approached this and there were some fantastic designs. Congratulations to Tyler in Y10 who won our WHSmith voucher with a sturdy structure measuring a staggering 73cm!

It was an absolute pleasure to meet with our tradesmen and tradeswomen, quantity surveyors and engineers of the future!
