WJ Structures is thrilled to announce that we’ve secured a contract to restore the historic Buile Hill Mansion in Salford. This prestigious project will involve carrying out stone repairs, stone fixing, pointing, and structural alterations.
A Rich History
Built in 1825, the Grade II listed mansion boasts a fascinating history. Designed by renowned architect Charles Barry, the mastermind behind the Palace of Westminster and Manchester Art Gallery, Buile Hill Mansion is a true architectural gem.
A New Life for a Historic Landmark
After standing vacant for two decades, the mansion is set for a remarkable transformation. It will be repurposed as a wedding venue, complete with a café bar and function suite. Additionally, it will become the new home for Salford’s registry service.
