With the aim of inspiring the future generation in construction, we volunteered to take part in a local primary school’s ‘Aspirations Day’, where children opted to take part in short seminars delivered by people from different occupations. Our operatives spent time answering the children’s questions about jobs in construction, dressed them in site PPE, and helped them to build their own brick walls using bricks and mortar.
